- Step 1. Complete the Early Offer Application following these instructions:
- Select the course you are interested in from the drop-down list.
- Check that you will meet the pre-requisites and any additional essential entry requirements.
- When providing your email address please use the same email address that you intend to use in your VTAC application.
- List the relevant Federation University course in your VTAC preference list.*
To be eligible for an early offer you must:
- Be a current domestic Australian year 12 student or a recent (completed year 12 in 2022 or 2023) domestic Australian year 12 graduate who has not undertaken further study.
- Meet the pre-requisites, essential requirement (if any) and achieve the guaranteed ATAR for the program.
- Apply by the December deadline.
- Apply via VTAC and list the Federation University degree in your preference list.*
In some situations, we can provide applicants with a conditional offer. Applicants will receive an email from Admissions outlining the conditions they must meet before they can receive a full offer.
Conditions may include forwarding your examination results or achieving an English proficiency test score. These conditions will be listed on your offer email and, until they are met, you won't be able to enrol in units under your course of study.
Once we are satisfied that you have met the conditions, you will receive a full offer and be able to enrol via Student Centre.
- If your application is successful, you will receive a conditional offer.
- As an Early Offer Program recipient, you'll have exclusive access to content, services and events welcoming you to campus and preparing you for higher education.
- If you meet the conditions of the Early Offer Program you will be issued a formal offer by VTAC in the December 2024 offer round.
- If you don't meet the conditions of an early offer, you may still be eligible for an offer for the course. Applicants who have experienced educational disadvantages are encouraged to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS). Depending on eligibility and your circumstances, a SEAS application may provide support for your course application.
If you are completing or have completed the VCE Vocational Major (VM), it is encouraged that you apply for an Early Offer in Federation Access Studies (FAST) as an alternative pathway to an approved degree.
