BUMGT1103 Contemporary human resource management

This unit enables students to understand the role of human resource management in contributing to the long term performance and viability of organisations. Students will be provided with an understanding of the functions of human resource management through the employee lifecyle and how human resource management integrates and interrelates with other functions of management. The unit content will establish a structured framework for further specialist study in human resource management.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).

Domestic full fee–paying places

A domestic full fee–paying place is one that isn’t subsidised by the Australian Government. These places are offered to postgraduate students or those who are ineligible for a CSP.
