EXSCI3178 Inclusion Through The Lifespan
This unit introduces students to working with diverse populations across the lifespan, including individuals with impairments and those from varied cultural, linguistic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Students explore factors influencing participation in physical activity and apply safe, evidence-informed exercise practices to address barriers to inclusion. Through practical and community-based learning experiences, students engage with community organisations, analyse and deliver inclusive physical activity programs, and develop their skills in communication, professional practice, and tailored physical activity and exercise prescription.
Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
