Research degrees

Perhaps you’ve completed an honours or postgraduate degree. Maybe you just have professional or life experience. Either way, you’re curious and determined, and good at working independently. Taking on a masters by research or PhD will give you the opportunity to fully investigate a specific topic and make discoveries.

Pathways to a research course

You generally need to have an honours degree or a masters by coursework (with a relevant research component) to do a higher degree by research. Sometimes we take students based on their work or life experience. But if you don’t meet the entry requirements, the Graduate Certificate in Research is a fantastic pathway.
